Hosted by Timber Queensland, Timber NSW and the North East NSW Forestry Hub, this dinner has been scheduled to coincide with the Primex Expo on 15-17 May 2025. Primex has become an important destination for anyone with an interest in forestry and timber. In 2024 over 40 businesses representing the industry exhibited at the 2024 event. With the support of Timber NSW, Timber Queensland and the North East NSW Forestry Hub, industry is encouraged to help make the event bigger and better in 2025.

Dinner Speaker - Garan Hale, Founder, Designer Woodworks

Garan is a master woodworker with a impressive history of producing fine furniture, wooden boat restoration, guitars and much more. We look forward to hearing about his passion for using ethically sourced Australian timbers and his experience actively reforesting hisproperty in Northern New South Wales concentrating on planting endemic species to provide a seed bank for future generations. He also collects quality salvaged logs which are band milled and solar kiln dried then crafted into Designer Woodworks fine furniture.
